Interesting start!

If Harry can really gain control over his estate than maybe he will have a chance. It would be best if he does not return to Britain in the near future, his enemies just have to much power there...

I remember seeing this before, somewhere. It's a good start to a story, but I want to see some more. This version of Dumbledore's a sneaky swine, and not that much morally superior to Riddle---I'd think that after seeing that Harry was being beaten, they'd have the mother-wit to have someone moving in with the Dursleys to keep the scene serene.
