"A bright flash later"...
Tell me Harry didn't just blow the Apparition wards at the DoM by Apparating everyone back to Godric's Hollow!
Now that you've actually posted a second chapter, you realize that people will be hounding you for the next. (Attempts to hide hound.)

An enjoyable story so far. And I agree with you that the female is the more dangerous of the species. :)

Thank you Keith, the first new fanfic I've had the privilege to read today. Well done again another well thought out plot

Talk about a rip-roarng return! Lily is indeed *bound* to Harry (magically), which certainly changes the rules. Lily also (with considerable help from everyone) tears Dumbledore a new one (to the point that Albus offers to resign as Headmaster, and still may). Lily has reason, apparently, *not* to like Severus Snape, given her comment to the group *before* hearing of Harry's life after her own death. Finding out that Lily was an Unspeakable is far from surprising (as Lily was a known Charms Mistress). Apparently, once her bonafides are proven to the Ministry's satisfaction, Lily and Harry will remain either at Godric's Hollow (which they own, remember?) or even at #12 (which will fall to, most likely, Harry, if Sirius is well and truly gone). There *are* several confrontations I am waiting to see (with some measure of glee, I have to admit):
Lily vs. the Dursleys (a live Lily will severely shake *both* of them up, I guarantee!)
Lily vs. Fudge
Lily vs. Umbridge
Lily vs. Severus Snape
But what the heck did *Harry* see at the Death Chamber that got him to take command so *ruthlessly*? For some reason, he saw the folks there as Death Eaters (considering he led with Reducto, he was definitely taking no chances at all). Most surprising (for Harry) the entire group (including Dumbledore) obeyed *without question*. Who's going to point *that* little tidbit out to Boy Wonder?

Keep working, but give us a bone with cliff-hanger

Interesting, a lot of revelations in short order. I'm curious to Harry's reactions, Lily obviously expected something like this, but then Harry mentions Death Eaters and blows that thought to hell. A hell of a cliff hanger.

This is an odd pairing, that many people would object to. I however, will not. This seems to be a good start, and I do hope you plan to update soon.

This was a really great start for a story that's just always going to be on the back burner. *sigh* I wish there was more, even if it could be a little squicky, you got me interested.

This is quite interesting so far. I am wondering where you plan on taking this story, since this first chapter is so vague. I hope to see more chapters soon in the future. You are one of the few authors whose fics I like to re-read.

Hmmm, imagination grabbing. Sucker us into a story, and tell us that you'll be updating very rarely. Evil!
Good start. Good luck with the Ties of Blood problem. I'm having similar problems with my fiction, which is causing me to write snippets of other stories.
So it goes.
Thanks for writing. Good luck with both stories.

It was started from a challenge, and it'll update whenever the mood strikes me. The real problem I'm having with ToB is that things want to happen too fast, although I think I've just worked that one out - finally. With any luck, if I'm right, I should be able to update by the weekend - but that's not a definite.

Just a thought... at the end, Lilly didn't know about time passing, so she would probably think that the person she saw was James Potter, wouldn't she??
