I've always enjoyed your writing, although it has been a few months (at least) since I read anything by you.

I like how this story is starting out. I really hope that the updates will be fast in coming. Nothing is more frustrating for me than finding a new story that I really like and then it takes forever for the author to post updates!

That jump to the Dutch witch was pretty abrupt. If I was Harry I wouldn't have trusted a stranger, who just happened to be a witch, so quickly after what happened with the goblins, and after seeing that Albus spiked the letter somehow. Other than that, I think the story is coming along fine, though I don't see how you're going to reconcile Harry and Hermione, since Harry's already mad at her for her letter and they are now continents apart. I'm looking forward to seeing where you take this story.

A nice start as always, I did like that you avoided all the typical "Hermione-or-Tonks-or-Ginny-or-insert female character here is the only one to really care about Harry" plotlines. I was really enjoying Tonks' rants, but then you had Hermione be under the Imperious. I would have preferred it if she gradually learned that "Dumbledore only wants to keep Harry safe and do what is best" was really "Dumbledore is only using Harry to get what he wants and doesn't give a rat's arse if Harry lives or dies, or would actually prefer it if Harry dies", but what can you do?

I'm looking forward to seeing how this plays out. How will Hermie find Harry and then how will she convince him she is really on his side? Will this whole story be for teens or will it go the smut route? And why on earth is Harry so trusting of this new broad he met on the street?

very nice thus far; i find the ... 'witchy' ... tonks to be an interesting take on the character; badbad!bumblebee is something of a fav of mine, especially since, EVEN IN CANON, manipulator!dumbledore makes life ... intersting ... for harry

Yes, you're still writing. this is a good start to a new story. but one question, how does harry know about the train to mainland Europe?

his dursley family would most likely consider it freakish, his friends at Hogwarts would not understand the ramifications, and Hermione wouldn't mention it around him because of the previous two reasons.

I'm glad to see for once non-nice goblins, I must admit that I was tired of seeing ever-so-helpful goblins suddenly. Well done, though I must admit that if you wanted to keep in character, the characters here are OOC, and to be honest don't feel like normal canon characters. I realize that this is fanfiction, but I don't feel like I know these characters, beyond the fact that they've been made more megalomaniacal than I thought.

Harry can't go the the Death Eaters for help, obviously. Is the Ministry under Dumbledore's control as well? If not, and Fudge really does dislike Dumbledore, there may be recourse there. Otherwise, he'll have to stay out of England and probably Europe as well. If he could make it to North America or Austrailla, he might be able to disappear at least for a while. Just long enough to let Voldemort kill Dumbledore.
Dumbledore, I think, made a mistake by not having one of his supposed 'friends' sympathetic to Harry. Then Harry may have gone to that person when he ran. As it was, Harry saw no allies, so he went off on his own, leaving Dumbledore no way to trace him.
