Well there are some big mistakes in the story in my opinion. 1st, when Harry arived at Sirius's place and Harry telling Dumbledore about Gringotts letters. 2nd, when Harry got back from Gringotts and talked to Dumbledore and Snape, why did he only threaten Snape after the curse and not cut him open and he refers to Dumbledore as sir. As he is the heir of 2 founder why not use that to kick Snape and Dumbledore out of Hogwarts staff and so on.

On a "Death By Inaction" trial or lawsuit: I hate to say it, but the Ministry (especially under Cornelius Fudge!) is duplicitous enough to dare to bring such a case against Harry Potter. *Never mind* that he has been both physically and mentally abused by the Dursleys. "Never mind" that the Dursleys want nothing to do with him, except as a source of funds. "Never mind" that Harry has been barred from being allowed to physically protect the Dursleys from magical threats (though the primary agent for that is Albus Dumbledore, even the Supreme Mugwump of the ICW and Chief Warlock of the Wizengamot couldn't have gotten away with it without help). There are those within the Ministry that could indeed argue their belief in seeking Harry Potter liable for death-by-inaction of the Dursleys WITH A STRAIGHT FACE. (Worse for us, the same attitude is more prevalent among Muggles than in the Potterverses. See the civil trials of Orenthal James Simpson and Robert Anson Blake: two men that were found civilly liable for deaths that they were criminally acquitted of.)

I think Harry's mom know how the statue would react to Harry and the way he might react to it.Thank you for this story and the time and effort that you have put in to it.Please ignore any and all flames.Enjoy your self when you write and have fun in your life when you can.

I read a few of your stories and I've noticed a trend, harry being harsh on himself, Ravenclaws Heir, and the fact that he is a viking in the sack, and instead of being redundent you seem to be able to mix it up enough to be interesting.
Bloody Good Job!!!

Snape shoulda KNOWN better. He has just a wand; Harry's packing both a wand AND a knife (that doubles as a backup wand). Some Duelling Master HE is. (And he wants to teach Defense? And Harry's nearly turned him into potion ingredients *twice*?) As bad as Snape fared, Tom's Run Of Bad Luck is now *Officially Worse*! Salazar's own Vault says *NYET* to his being the Heir, and passes it to (horror of horrors for Tom) *Harry*, The-Boy-Who's-Giving-Tom-An-O-fer. If Gringott's ever leaks THIS news.....

I have only one comment. Please UPDATE!!!!

Well, Harry is in need of grief counseling, anger management, and human relations training; Lily is in need of anger management. Hermione and Tonks, I don't know. Fun to be had by all. Damn I hope it all gets straightened out.

Well, that was interesting. I don't know how I'd react in that situation, mostly because I've never been in that situation and I am almost 4 times as old as Harry is in the story. Looking forward to how this plays out

Harry's got a set of brass ones big enough to hang to the floor. I personally think in this context that his anger is more than justified. I like a strong Harry. Keep up the good work.

Nice, very nice. Liked the Founder's vault scene this time as much as in the other story. I like that Lily is more 'active' this time around and I liked the Dumbledore/Snape/Harry confrontation. The meeting of the statue and Remus is a nice cliffie.

A slighly different vault visit than in a previously read story of yours, but I like the change. Dumbledore is a little more manipulative in this story than in the other one. As I said change is good. Now, for the rest of the story. -grin-

Why Self-Mutilating!Harry: Harry has been subject to *years* of abuse by the Dursleys (both physical and mental); in fact, over a decade of it. They are, most importantly, the ONLY family he has known for over half his life (he didn't meet the Weasleys until he was eleven). The results of such an upbringing are often MUCH worse than mere self-mutilation (how Harry avoided becoming another Tom Riddle is, honestly, quite magical in and of itself), *especially* among Muggles (for evidence, read the Local News section of any newspaper). Perhaps the reason it is so hard to comprehend is because such cruelty is beyond comprehension for most of us; however, they are NOT beyond comprehension for ME. (Not because I've been through it to the degree that Harry has, but I have seen enough of that sort of abuse that I can, to a greater extent than even I feel comfortable with, identify with Harry Potter's Life Amongst The Dursleys.) His self-worth is low to non-existent, he's grieving the death of the closest thing he has had to a father (worse, he thinks that HE is to blame for it!); yet, time after time, he is held up to the standard that even an Albus Dumbledore would have trouble meeting by the majority of the wizarding society of which he is a part (while he himself is certain that status is wholly undeserved, *despite* the decidedly heroic and epic nature of his accomplishments to date). Throw in the fact that he has NOT had time to properly grieve (or even have a proper childhood), and you dare ask why he self-mutilates?

Sorry, that last one was me. I thought I had logged in.
An interesting idea. Yet I find the self-loathing Harry a bit heavy-handed. Perhaps too much a reprise of Family Matters, which I read some time ago on Portkey. Certainly, Harry's justified in some harsh recriminations with Dumbledore, no quarrel there. I just find his self-image out of character (there's no justification in canon, even OOTP) and unsympathetic. I'll read more chapters of this, to see where you are going, but I can't help feeling that you could do better with Harry's character.

...wow!!!
That's a pretty wild chapter, and incredibly good, although I don't know what to say beyond that. I just wanted to let you know that was really good, and I can't wait until you update this (as well as any other story you're writing).

Does Harry have a total accounting over who's been dipping in his accounts? Hmm, a three some involving Harry and two girls. I do hope that he has some extra-strength pepper up potion or what not. Who else will Harry have sex with? More Snape bashing till he grows up and treats Harry as his own person.

Oh my, that was a rather hot little scene.
I find self-mutilating!Harry a little hard to believe, but the rest of it is very nice reading.
