Got to say, I love all your writing, beginning with "Family Matters." I've noticed that you seem very skilled in portraying a young person in the chains of depression, leaving this survivor of severe teen depression (more than 16 years ago) very impressed with the realism. "My Father's Image" continues with very realistic emotional scenes, and though I bounce like a five-year-old in the McDonalds Drive-In Lane waiting for new chapters, I also appreciate that you don't offer quick resolutions to severe negative emotions, such as anger and depression. Oops, run-on sentence - sorry.
Of all the stories you still have incomplete, I think this is one of my favorites. I wish JKR would deal with Albus' criminal negligence in leaving HP with the Dursleys. As a minister, should I find a minor being emotionally and physically abuse in such a way, I would be considered an accessory to child abuse for not reporting, as would any physician or teacher. I assume England's laws are not that dissimilar from those of South Carolina. In addition, I would lose my ministerial credentials with no possibility of ever getting them back.
I find that I have no serious criticisms to offer. Many writers bring HP into multi-amorous situations quite unrealistically, but I find that when they occur for reasons other than simple lust or perversity, they actually happened much more slowly than those other writers might wish. I suspect laziness on the part of the other authors. Your delightfully long and intricate chapters set a much higher standard. If you ever publish something I can get at B.Daltons or elsewhere, I predict an immediate drop in my cash-flow, since I'd go crazy getting my order in.
One could wish for more frequent updates, but I do understand that you must have a life. I may review some other tale in the future, but for now, best wishes -
BC

Very nice. I'm just waiting for the twist. Will it be that Lily slept with Sirius as well, and Sirius is Harry's real father? I, personally, find it odd that he looks so much like James. Wizarding genetics, I suppose.

Very well done. Not too much details but enough to see a loving first time for both of them. Please write some more on this story. It is a good one. Thanks for writing.

Is Harry ever going to feel worthy? I hope this gets better soon. It is really sad now! I see by your notes that things will improve after you meet the "challenge"! Please keep writing!

That was interesting. Lily had Narcissa as a lover in school! Quite and eye opener. Keep writing. This is quite entertaining.

Wow! Harry is pulling out all the stops. At least Dumbledore is starting to act like he might care for Harry. I guess time will tell. Thanks for the story and please keep writing.

I really like Lily! What a unique concept! She has a lot of spirit. I like that. Interesting twist you put on the statue. She is Lily but not Lily, Harry's mother. And she is a 17 year old hottie! Is this going to get "interesting"?
I find it funny that so many writers make Remus faint! Poor Remus. At least he recognized Lily! That is more than dear old Snape could do! I look forward to more. Thanks for writing.

This is a really great story. I have been exploring the "other" stories different authors on this site have written while I wait for updates on the stories I have been following. I really enjoy the variations of story lines you all come up with. I can't write a story to save my neck but I am really enjoying yours. Please keep writing and updating. This looks like a new candidate to my master list. Thank you for writing.
