Is Harry ever going to feel worthy? I hope this gets better soon. It is really sad now! I see by your notes that things will improve after you meet the "challenge"! Please keep writing!

Well, Harry is in need of grief counseling, anger management, and human relations training; Lily is in need of anger management. Hermione and Tonks, I don't know. Fun to be had by all. Damn I hope it all gets straightened out.

Please write more of this story soon. The Lily statue is a new twist and I like the way you are handling things so far. Keep up the good work.

Nice story, it would probably have seemed much nicer if I hadn't read "Sorceror's Apprentice" first as you used entire identical paragraphs in both stories. The one nitpick in this story is that Harry is too self aware about how he was abused when discussing Dumbeldore and the Dursleys.

I enjoyed how you had Harry take control of his life. And how he told Snape off also.

Concerning the statue itself: this is a *magical statue* (a golem, if you will) designed on a living template (the pre-nuptials Lily Evans). The process was similar (but not identical) to that used for wizard portraits, and apparently the sculptor (according to the statue) took the process to his grave. The spells and charms on the statue are such that unless the person knows the statue *is* a statue, he/she won't be able to tell (neither James or Remus *could* tell the statue apart from the real Lily, even when she was present, and even though *Harry* knows that this Lily is a statue, his body says otherwise) unless the statue *herself* wishes to reveal her construction (it is entirely due to these known facts that, in all honesty I have to refer to the statue as *her* as opposed to *it* because, unlike a typical golem, the statue has its own personality, and a completely separate personality from the original, even though it was crafted by Obliviation/Memory Charms).
Lily *does* state that, for some reason, Severus *is* aware of some facets of her existence (and I suspect it has something to do with Narcissa Black). Why would I have this suspiscion? Firstly, both Severus and Narcissa were Slytherins together, and therefore, because Lily, more than once, tried to protect Severus, Severus himself may have known about Lily/Narcissa. Also, was Severus, back in their Hogwarts days, *envious* of Lily for successfully bedding Narcissa? That is not as far-fetched as it sounds: consider that Lily and Narcissa were the two ladies atop the Ten Sexiest Girls Of Hogwarts at the time, and even Severus is not proof against a pretty woman, and Narcissa, back then, was certainly that (not that she isn't today); also, everything points to the Lucius/Narcissa marriage being an *arranged* marriage (especially considering *known* Family Black Tradition, and why Andromeda got booted out of the family), so there are yet more skeletons in the Black closet (how did Narcissa get trapped into her marriage to Lucius, for one). Also, is there something that even Lily is unaware of concerning Bellatrix? (Lily herself suggested that Harry fetch Narcissa because of what she is aware of; however, what *else* does Narcissa know that even Lily is unaware of? Right now, Narcissa, not Lily, is the second-greatest living authority on Bellatrix Black-Lestrange, as her sister, and far too many things are unexplainable concerning her. Because Bellatrix is, for now, on Tom's side, Harry needs answers.)

No! No! Lily and Hermione are wrong. Harry needs them all up in the bed, right away.

EXtraordinary - I have just read the 1st 5 chapters in one sitting - and am in an agony of frustration that it will be another 3 months before the next installment arrives - You are one of the finest story tellers currently writing in any medium, and I hope Ed Mcmahon visits you with an enormous check, so that you can do this full time for the next hundred years.
Thanks

In a word, *ouch*. I recognize part of one chapter from another of your stories (Sorcerer's Apprentice); however, the pairing in this story is *decidedly unusual* (Harry/Lily Evans/Tonks/Hermione). Worse, I even understand why Severus would call Lily a *whore*; Severus is very much a *one woman man* of the Old Anglican School (except for the fact that he's a wizard, he would fit right in amongst the Puritans that came to what is now Massachusetts in the seventeenth century); the fact that she was one of Narcissa's lovers (yes, I said *one* of them; from a comment Lily's Statue made, Narcissa did NOT draw the line at incest) merely exacerbated the issue, whether or not that Severus had a crush on Lily (or Narcissa, or even both) certainly wouldn't have HELPED! Severus Snape reminds me rather horribly or Reverend Dimmesdale from *The Scarlet Letter*, and we certainly know what happened to HIM...

very interesting; I'll admit; I'm always a sucker for Harry gets a Harem stories; and; this one should be a goodie! I'm wondering one thing, with Lil being made of marble; even if she is 'fully functional' does she have the skin warmth, softness etc? otherwise, I can't imagine it would be an overly comfortable experience *GRIN*
